Sacraments
Baptisms: Baptisms are celebrated on the second and fourth Sundays of the month following 2:00 Mass. Parents must
attend a Baptismal Class prior to baptism. Call the Parish Office for more information.

Marriage: In keeping with Diocesan requirements, arrangements must be made with a Priest/Deacon at least six months before the date selected to allow for the necessary preparation.

Care of the Sick: Please notify the Parish Office so that the sick can be visited and receive the Eucharist.

Funerals: Please notify the Parish Office as soon as possible regarding arrangements.

Religious Education Program:
PSR (Parish School of Religion): Grades K-8: PSR Sunday 9:15-10:15 A.M. "STARS" Youth Ministry: Grades 9-12: Monday 7:00-8:45 P.M.

PARISH LIFE ORGANIZATIONS
Pastoral Council: Its purpose is to promote the spiritual growth of the parish community and to plan ways for the parish to carry out the mission of the Church. The members of the pastoral council represent the interests and pastoral needs of the parish community. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the PAC (Parish Activity Center) in Rectory lower level.

St. Vincent DePaul Society: Its purpose is to help meet the needs of the poor and suffering of the parish and local community. In addition to direct aid, it also helps stimulate and awareness of poverty, illness, loneliness and many other human deprivations worldwide. Meetings are help the second Monday every month at 7:30 P.M. in the Bride's Room in the Church.

Bible Study:
Its purpose is to break open the Word of God in order to understand the scriptures better and to be able to live out
the Gospel message today in our various worlds. No previous Bible training is needed to attend. Meetings are held
Sundays at 9:15- 10:15 A.M. in the Cry Room in Church.

Bible Sharing:
Its purpose is for small groups of Christians to gather together, to study the Sunday Bible Readings, to share their faith and questions, and to support one another. Participants need no training in the Bible to attend. Meetings are held on Thursday nights from 7:30- 9:00 P.M. in the PAC.

Worship Commission:
Its purpose is to be of service to the parish community in planning quality, faith-filled experiences of prayer. The commission also supports the various liturgical ministries: lectors, Eucharistic ministers, ushers, greeters, etc. It is an opportunity to grow in faith, community and prayer. Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Brides' Room in the Church.

Ladies' Guild:
Some activities sponsored by the Guild are: New Member Dinner, Speakers, and the purchase of vestments and altar
cloths. Meetings are held the last Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Church Hall.

Prayer Line:
Its purpose is to offer prayer support during times of illness or personal/family crisis. Call the Parish Office

Choir:
Practice for the adult choir is held on Wednesdays at 7:00 P.M. & Sundays at 9:15 A.M. (September through May) in the
Church. (Choose either time)

Pro-life Ministry:
The Pro-Life Ministry Group meets the first Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Bride’s Room in the Church. This
group is involved in numerous activities throughout the year.

Marriage Encounter:
Its purpose is to increase love and communication between married couples. Encounter weekends are held almost every
month. Call Terry & Sue Smith at (330-896-4978) for more information.

Bereavement Ministry:
This ministry provides support and consolation to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. For information,
contact Annabelle Clements (330-896-2578). Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month in the Bride’s Room.

Friendship Sunday:
Friendship Sunday, sponsored by various Queen of Heaven organizations, is held the first Sunday of the month year around, except on holiday weekends. Please join us in the Gathering Space after all Sunday masses and have coffee and donuts while getting acquainted with fellow parishioners.

Mass Schedule:
(SV) 5:00pm; (S) 8:00am, 10:30am, noon
(there are no noon masses during the summer);
(HV) 7:00pm; (H) 8:30am, 7:00pm; (W) 8:30am

Reconciliation:
Saturday, following the 5:00P.M. Mass, or if needed, by appointment.
