We, the parishioners of St. Anne Parish, Rittman, Ohio a Congregation with its beginning in 1858, founded byFrench settlers, are committed to sharing in the teaching of the gospels in accordance with the Roman Catholic faith. We are a blend of the traditional and contemporary threadsof the Church today. We recognize our shared responsibility in following the guidance of our Lord. We wish to welcome all to share in our ministry of caringand giving of ourselves. We reach out to those in need of our love and care for the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our parish and community. We, as a parish, value family life and seek to strengthen family values through prayer and worship. We are centered in and strengthened by our celebration of the Eucharist which unites us together.

BAPTISM: Expectant parents should call us well ahead of the anticipated date of birth for details of pre-baptism preparation. Ordinarily the sacrament of Baptism is celebrated at a weekend Eucharist, except during Lent. CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE: Couples wishing to share their lives with one another and Christ in marriage are invited to call us before a wedding date can be set. Please give yourselves and us plenty of time (at least six months) for this important occasion. ANOINTING OF THE SICK: Please feel free to request this sacrament at any time. SHUT-INS AND ILL: Please notify us about family members who are hospitalized. Those confined at home should contact us for the Eucharist and/or Anointing of the Sick. FUNERALS: Please notify us as soon as possible regarding arrangements, either personally or through the funeral director. R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults): Those considering the Catholic faith are invited to call us. Catechumens are initiated into the church as a culmination of their participation in a process of prayer and formation. CCD: 9:00 A.M. Sunday PARISH MEMBERSHIP: As a parish family, we welcome you! BULLETIN DEADLINE: Items for the bulletin should be turned in at the Rectory by Monday by 5:00 p.m. AS A PARISH FAMILY WE ARE ENCOURAGED TO PRAY FOR ALL OF THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE SACRAMENTAL LIFE OF THE CHURCH. |
