Mission Statement The people of Saint Bernadette Parish are a Christian community rooted in the faith and tradition of the Catholic Church. As a Christ-centered community, we draw upon God’s Word for direction and understanding as we journey in faith. We embody Jesus’ love and forgiveness to establish relationships with Him, ourselves and each other. Our personal and shared prayer and spirituality culminate in our Eucharistic/Liturgical celebrations. It is during these times that we gather as one body to praise and give glory to our Creator and to proclaim the joy of life in Jesus as seen in each other. We further recognize that each of us has been gifted by God with unique abilities and abundant resources that we contribute to the life of the parish and extended community by the practicing of Christian charity, social justice and civic responsibility. Our openness and commitment to the power of the Spirit in our lives enables us to realize and develop these individual gifts and talents. Under the guidance of the Spirit we encourage and affirm this diversity that all share the responsibility of building up the Body of Christ. | |

Healthy parents help keep their children healthy and in school. Having healthy children means these parents stay working and attain economic stability. Over 25,000 working parents lost coverage when this eligibility was cut in the 2006-2007 budget. It is a matter of restoring previous levels that are important. Our state senator is Robert F. Spada -614-466-8056. PRO-LIFE CORNER - As you get into the second trimester, if we remove the pregnancy using forceps, and if a heartbeat is the measure of being alive, that happens all the time.
