Membership at St. Bernard Church We heartily welcome all new families and persons into our parish family. Please call the rectory to register. As a member of the Church, you are accepting the responsibility of supporting God's work here through giving of yourself, your time and talents and a worthy Sunday offering to show your love of Christ and your gratitude for His many favors. Parents must participate in pre-Baptism instructions before arrangements will be made.Pre-Baptism instructions for parents is offered every month at the following parishes:
The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated after a period of preparation in the high school years. Call the rectory for further information. Couples intending to marry should consult a priest/deacon of the parish at least six months prior to the desired date. We will assist you with marriage counseling and preparation which is required by Dioscesan policy. Saturdays 3:00 - 4:00 P. M. or at other times by appointment. Please contact one of the priests. RCIA ( Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Those wighing to inquire about or enter the Catholic faith, please contact the rectory about becoming a member of the Catecumenate. The Catecumenate meets Sunday at 10:00 A.M. Mass and will continue at the Newman Center. We invite newcomers to join us and those who have been away for some time to join us again. ISR ( Inter-Parish School of Religion) Adults: Monday, 6:30 - 7:45 PM at ISR Education Center. Elementary: (Grades K-6) Monday, 6:30 - 7:45 PM at ISR Education Center. Junior High ( Grades 7-8): Monday, 6:30 - 7:45 PM at ISR Education Center. High School Youth ( Grades 9-12): Monday, 6:30 - 7:45 PM at ISR Education Center. First Fridays: 11:00 - 11:45 A.M., followed by Benediction Please notify us as soon as possible to make arrangements. When a parishioner is confined to home due to illness, advanced age or infirmity, please call the rectory to arrange for Holy Communion at home. When one is seriously ill, the healing presence of the Lord should be requested in the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
